Sealed bids marked "Bid for City of Camrose HLPS #3 North and South Reservoir Roof Replacement” will be received through the Bids and Tenders – Online Bidding System up to 2:00 pm local time on September 16, 2021. Bids submitted after the Online Bidding System closing time will not be accepted by the Online Bidding System. The time as indicated by the declining time clock on the Online Bidding System shall be the official time for closing The work at the HLPS #3 North and South Reservoirs includes:
The City’s intent is to award the work for both Reservoirs, but due to funding requirements may elect only to proceed with the South Reservoir in 2021. If the North Reservoir cannot be funded in 2021, then the City may or may not elect to proceed with the North Reservoir in 2022 based upon the successful contractor’s bid and approved funding
Contract Documents will be available on the Bids and Tenders website (https://ae.bidsandtenders.ca) on or after Tuesday, August 31, 2021. Bidders are required to check for any updated information and addenda issued before the closing date and time at the Bids and Tenders website (https://ae.bidsandtenders.ca).
Any changes to the Bid Documentation will be issued by means of written addenda and posted to the BuildWorks and Bids and Tenders websites and will form part of the Bid. No amendment of any kind to the tenderer is effective unless it is posted in a formal written addendum. Upon submitting to this Bid, Bidders will be deemed to have received notice of all addenda that have been posted and deemed to have considered the information for inclusion in the tender submitted.
Technical inquiries by bidders are to be submitted via Bids and Tenders before 5:00 pm, September 13, 2021. AE reserves the right to not to respond to technical questions submitted via email or any other questions after the inquiry date noted hereof. Relevant questions will be responded via addendum.
A Mandatory Bidders’ Briefing is scheduled for September 9, 2021 at 2:00 pm at HLPS #3 located at Rudy Swanson Recreation Park in Camrose, AB.
All bidders attending the briefing will be required to confirm their attendance including the attendee’s name, phone number, and company. Confirmation of the bidder’s attendance will be required by 5:00 pm, September 7, 2021. Due to the current COVID-19 situation, no personnel without a confirmation of attendance will be allowed to enter the premises. All attendees will be required to wear appropriate PPE and must follow the latest directions from Alberta Health Services.
The lowest or any bid will not necessarily be accepted. |
