The Kehewin Cree Nation (herein referred as the Owner) invites Prequalification Submissions from General Contractors interested in completing the Kehewin Transmission Line Upgrade – Phase 2 project. It is the intention of the Owner to prequalify General Contractors with relevant experience in potable water transmission line construction and sub-contractor management for related multi-discipline works. The Prequalification is the first of a two-stage procurement process (Appendix A). The first stage involves the invitation and selection of Respondents that meet the requirements of the Prequalification. The second stage will be to invite the prequalified Contractors to submit Tenders for the Invitational Tender, to be issued in late September 2022 (or a later date), by the Owner. The transmission line that is to be constructed will service Kehewin, AB, situated 20 km South West of Bonnyville, AB. The line is intended to connect to the existing transmission main and service additional residential developments. Refer to Appendix B for approximate alignment and the existing transmission main. |
